Greetings...
Time had passed so quickly! Recognition comes ahead...parang kailan lang...memories during our training in Davao City was never been erased in my mind and heart. As if it just happened yesterday! Now, I can wait to see everybody in our coming racognition day...wherein the fruits of our labor and labor to be...will be rewarded!
The training that we had last January will always be a part of our life as an eMentor Teachers. It made our lives and the lives of our students more meaningful in the process of teaching and learning. I would like to congratulate everyone's success in achieving our goal as an IBM eMentor Scholars. As we go on to our journey...a new beginning always welcomes us as we go to an end!
I just hope and pray...that somehow this recognition will not be the end of our brotherhood/sisterhood being one of the members of the OBM eMentor Scholars. Let's join hand-in-hand in struggling to make our lives more interesting and meaningful through the power of computers. The future of our students lies in our hands...soar high eMentors! Teach our students with the power of advance technology!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!
Ms. Marie
IBM Recognition and Awards Night
In September 2005, IBM Philippines launched the IBM eMentor Scholarship Program in ARMM meant to propagate best practices in educational technology. After a year of project implementation, we now celebrate our IBM eMentor Models of Excellence during this occasion. From twenty-eight (28) IBM eMentor Scholars, we have chosen three (3) best models of practice - those who have shown exemplary performance in technology integration, a practice not only worth celebrating but should be emulated by teachers in the region.
Please join us in this very special event, a milestone in the ARMM Education, to witness how educational technology liberates teachers of Muslim Mindanao. Thank you for your continued support to the IBM eMentor Scholarship Program.

From TAwi-TAwi with love again...
I just felt I owe you everyone a heartfelt gratitude for everything... Like everybody else we ( Leticia and I) are through with our demo and the rest of the requirements. Honestly we had hard times acomplishing everything because of some impediments however, we still opted to comply no matter what...
Now, I am sure everybody is excited to attend the graduation rites... the final activity... but I suppose, the ideals and goals of the program had embedded our hearts and souls thus, I am sure there are still lot of things to accomplish. With the experiences we got I know we are now ready to be more effective educators of our land and be more proud of our achievement and of our being teachers.
On behalf of our school principal, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the IBM phils, Gem-Clic, Eduquest... of course to our mentors.... Sir Meoh and Sir Garsh.. to ma'am MAej and to all my fellow scholars. MAraming Salamat Po... Hanggang sa Muli and let us continue what we have started and make our school the best " Playground" for learning.
Hope to see you guys...

The IBM eMentor Scholars (MSU Chapter) have just sent their portfolios yesterday. From the beginning to the end of a new beginning...the brotherhood and sisterhood of this group is "to the MAX!" Walang iwanan.
No matter what happens...no barriers could make our "samahan" tear down and the group would not let that to happen!
In behalf of the MSU Based IBM eMentor Scholars, sincerest gratitude is extended to:
All the people behind this program, IBM Philippines, EduQuest, Inc., USAID, and GEM-CLIC;
To the MSU Officials President Dr. Ricardo F. De Leon; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Nasroden B. Guro; Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Macabangkit P. Ati; especially to Dr. Malawi A. Panambulan, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs External Studies; for their unfailing support and assistance to the group;
To Dr. Emerita Moti, MSU-ISED Dean for permitting the group to use their computer laboratory room as a venue for our re-echo training;
To Prof. Manis M. Didatar, MSU-Balindong principal, for being generous for their laptop and LCD projector;
To Sir Sonny Magno for his assistance;
To Ma'am Jocelyn Aman for her moral support;
To Ma'am Letlet Obina, for being our Big Sister;
To all the people behind our success in doing our responsibility as IBM eMentors,
May ALLAh's guidance and blessings be with you all! Thank you very much!

Classroom Observation held in MSU-Balindong
Sunday, October 29-30, 2006 marks not the end but a new beginning for all the IBM eMentor Scholars.
Four of the IBM eMentor Scholars were observed in our school that made my heartbeats throbs. Yes, being the host and one of the presentors at the same time is a hard thing to do. It's very hard on our part thinking all the things we need to do and prepare, we didn't have enough time to relax and prepare ourselves for the demo. And upon reaching our school on that day, lights went off! Good we have the school's generator.
Anyway, that's a challenge on my part and Ms. Nor-ain. Congratulations to everyone for deliveing your presentations well. As the classroom observation ends, as the MSU-Balindong students walks out in classroom observation, they are asking me if there will be another kind of demonstration especially our First Year Pilot who never have the chance to discuss their lessons using the power of computers.
To Ma'am Carol, thank you...for you amazed our First Year Pilot students.
To Sir Aquil, our profound gratitude... for you opened the eyes of our Third Year Pilot students for what is happening around us.
To Sir Arnold, a million thanks to you...for touching the lives of our students.
And to Ms. Sal, Ms. Venus and especially to Ms. Nor-ain...the moral support you have given us, thank you very much.
Of course, I will never forget Sir Garsh for his perseverance in mentoring all the IBM Scholars for even he is a million miles from us, he never broke the connection with us, SUKRAN!
Last, but not the least, to Sir Meoh, for all the things you've done, for all the things you've shared, for all the things you've imparted to us, for all the things we've learned, etc...may GOD ALMIGHTY BLESS YOU always and MAY HE GIVE YOU MORE STRENGTH AND HEALTH and Guide you in all that you do!
As I have said, this is not the end but another beginning for our life as IBM eMentor Scholars. More challenging tasks is ahead of us, for us to continue implementing the objectives and principles of the IBM eMentor Scholarship Program. The knowledge and skills that we have acquired from our Mentors is a very powerful weapon for us to use in tackling our task as IBM eMentor Scholars.
GOD LUCK for another challenge to face!
Wassalam,
Ms. Marie

Final Demo
What can I say? I was a nervous wreck..Being a host made it double hard for me... I was first to make the demo. And while delivering my demo, I was also thingking and worrying of my visitors' comfort. I was worrying whether or not Sir Meoh is comfortable, was worrying about the snacks, as well as the food that needs to be prepared. I was simply a nervous wreck. Added to the fact that there was no electricity that time, added to the burden that any time, the generator might come off.
I talked to Ma'am Marie, who happens to host the previous day's demo, and we experience same thing. How we wished we could have swapped doing the demo, me having it at her school, and she on mine. Well, water's under the bridge, what's done connot be undone. We did our best and we were sincere with what we were doing. After all the program is not only the demo, but how you have implemented the program as a whole.
Sir Meoh, we hope you enjoyed your stay with us, and we look forward to having you back inshaALLAH (God Willing).
