ALHAMDULILLAH

Alhamdulillah...We just had our graduation the other day....But am not off the hook yet....Still has to do the reading and checking of my yearend reports....But i am hoping I could get it all done by the end of this week or early part of next week....Insha Allah (god willing)....

Ma'am Marie, I received all your messages, ...Unfortunately I have been sending back replies to you but seems my network is getting all funny, can't send nor receive sms...Ma'am Marie, Insha Allah i will go there...Just hope no important matters come up....But otherwise, worse comes to worse you can send me whatever it is you have agreed on...Just email me whatever it is you wanna tell me...

Anyway, I am planning on re echoing for my co-teachers basic microsoft office first before embarking on the whole program, as majority of my co-teachers don't have any inkling on the virtual world of computers...They're very enthusiastic about it....And very excited as well...Good thing we have the summer season to have it all done...

Sir Aquil, papano ba yan, will you provide us with gas up?Malabang is quite far...HEHEHE

Thanks everyone......

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GRADUATES OF 2006.....

Sir Garsh welcome back to the virtual world....

Hello...hello...hello!

Hello Sir Aquil, it seems that due to your very hectic schedule and many activities each day, you've forgotten where unit do I belong to, just a reminder ... I belong to the MSU-Balindong unit.

Thanks and more power. Always remember, "In whatever You DO, Do Your BEST, Do it RIGHT and Let ALLAH Do the REST."

See you soon.

Wassalam,

Mm Marie

To AQUIL...

It seems that due to your hectic schedule and many activities each day, you've forgotten where unit do I belong to. I just wanna remind you that I belong to MSU-Balindong, remember?!

See you soon.

Wassalam,

Mm Marie

Greetings!!!

Hello everyone!!! Assalamo alaikom...it's been a very very busy busy like a bee these past few days. And Alhamdullilah...we have gone through PEACEFULLY and SUCCESSFULLY with the guidance of our Almighty Creator.

It seems that everybody is busy again after the end year works...busy again with another new beginning of implementing what we have got from IBM programs. Aquil thanks for the invitation, I will be with you Inshallah! I am also organizing a seminar/training program for my co-teachers these coming April 6-8, but not yet re-echoing 'coz I have to start from the very basic part of knowing computers, that is to enhance first the knowledge of my co-teachers in using computers. We are only three teachers who have advanced knowledge and three also as beginners. So, I have to ecouyraged them first to start at the basic before re-echoing this summer also Inshallah. Good for Aquil, most of your co-teachers are also knowlegeable.

For the final re-echoing with my co-IBM Scholars here in MSU we are still on the process of scheduling our training. We will be meeting each other tomorrow Inshallah. Nor-ain, I hope you received my message to you regarding our meeting tomorrow, you haven't replied my message. Hello...hello...hello....

Sir Meoh, I will be taking much of your time upon arrival here at MSU. I will be coming to your hostel which is a block away from our cottage...hehehehe....need some refresh...

Hi ma'am maej, please tell Sir Sonny, GEM photographer, where's our pictures? To Ms. Ker, IBM/GEM-CLICK communications, thanks for the interview via cell phone. Glad to hear from you. And more power to everybody.

Marie of MSU-Balindong

Small Steps Makes a Difference

Sir Aquil, its okay....We know how you feel...W're all in same struggle...After all, we move in same profession, and same environment.....This is advise not only for you but for myself too and for everyone..

In going somewhere, SMALL STEPS MAKES A DIFFERENCE....Along the way you may encounter some hurdles, some hindrances... Pause and take those hindrances out of the way, and continue to make small steps...Eventually you will left those hindrances far back, while you with your small steps is far ahead already..Before you know it, even if it takes very long, you would eventually arrive at your goal........

You know, i think we all have same problems.....It happens that most of our colleagues belongs to the bygone era, where computer doesnt exist.....We in Lanao live in a place where people are afraid of change, and people get irritated if we initiate some actions for improvement. They think that we are changing the routine and we have some hidden agendas for all our initiatives (promotion perhaps?).

We have to make them understand that we can't go and stop the time and remain as it is...That there has to be change...Like in Biology, there has to be evolution for organisms to adapt and survive in the changing environment...And being Mentors to children, we have to adapt to the changing environment, and the present environment is all about technology..If we dont initiate action, who would?

We are lucky we get opportunities like this.....We just have to share this opportunity to everyone, because in this way it will spread , thus the benefit would reach to where all this program are intended for.........to the Children......

REGARDS TO SIR ARNOLD,MAAM MARIE, MAAM SAL, MAAM MARIAM, MAAM BARBS, MAAM VENUS, SIR AQUIL...

SIR MEOH, HINDI PO KITA NAKAKALIMUTAN...

Monitoring Site Visits

Good afternoon, IBM eMentors!

I initially sent you all a letter thru email about the first scheduled monitoring visit on April 2006. (For MSU schools, please coordinate with Mr. Dan Onod. I'll be sending the letter to him before this week ends..my PC crashed and is currently in the ICU). Otherwise, Mr. Meoh will be posting the schedule soon.

Thanks, Aquil for initiating a program on the 20th, we really appreciate it. The invited observers (teachers and Div. Supt) will be a great audience to showcase the talents of the IBM eMentors. Sir Meoh and I agreed that we will drop by.

I'd like to motivate the other scholars to confirm the attendance of his/her respective Div. Supts. to participate in the re-echo seminar. Perhaps we could also invite teachers from nearby CLIC schools as well? We are anticipating to have a good audience from DepEd since we will also be distributing posters showcasing the IBM eMentors (which will be posted in the schools' bulletin boards, or DepEd offices). Thanks.

Regards to everyone,
Maej

carrying the vision

hello everybody,,,,
i just want to remind you in unity there are strenght and hope... i am praying that we ementors will live as our forefathers did, as one family, one people, one blood and one vision and this will surely bring us to a succesful path. let us carry the vision of IBM with dedication and perseverance...i will do my reecho training with my co-teachers alone, but i did not forgot being alone with God is uncomparable. its better to be alone and realize how nice to be challenged. i am just an ordinary and simple being to carry the vision, however, through the unending support from the Divine really what makes me a tough. inshaallah by April 20-27 i will do my avalanche here in our school. and i am so glad sir meoh and maam maej would might come on our opening program. it has a lot to anticipate, the abnormality of our electricity in Lanao wherein i still have to use my personal money to buy gasoline (1 galloon-ph140.00 good for 1 hour). sometimes we experienced brownouts for several days......... my co teacher who was the master trainer for intel teach to the future was provided by intel with all that problem. to my co ementors its a hard task yet a vision to be fulfilled. once again my motto from the very start " IBM EMENTOR IS A GREAT THING TO CARRY ON FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES..." THANKS

Basic Eduaction Assistance for Mindanao visits

my warmest greetings of peace!!!

hello IBM ementors, i would like to share with you the very first time i had my demonstration using technology through multi-media presentaion in our school. it was the visitation of the Basic Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM) Davao here in our school and my Department Head in English gave me the chance to have my Demonstarion. nevertheless, i accept the offer and did earnestly. i had my demo-teaching in our computer laboratory with my first year English class. it was well appreciated by the BEAM people and by the school administration. i was congratulated by the BEAM officials. they saw how advanced our school is being the divisional leader school in the division of Lanao Sur II. They were amazed also that our school is a recipient of IBM EMENTOR PROGRAM................... i am so glad i had the opportunity to give name again to our school. i really noticed there is a magic of technology. with this, i think we are gonna role the world IBM EMENTORS.take the challenge again..........lets move and shout mabuhay IBM. TAHNK YOU AGAIN IBM PEOPLE.............LOVE YOU ALWAYS

Kumusta na ang lahat!!! pasensiya na kayo ha? Kasi I'm so busy up here. I'm the one incharge for the design of our souvenir program, with the picture takings of the graduating class, faculty and staff members of our school, getting messages from the VIP's and buying all the materials needed for the souvenir program....haaaayyyyy, all work and no play ako ngayon.
But then...of course, I will never forget you, guys. Especially to Sir Meoh and Sir Garsh!!!

For Sir Garsh...good luck for another "flight" for a new world!!!

Got to go...much, much work to do.

Where's the Buzz......

Seems eMentor Buzz is not buzzing much these days....
There's only one explanation....
March....
A month filled with:
Reports after reports....
Deadlines after deadlines....
Final Exams....
Final grades....
Cards....
Forms....
Promotional reports....
After all this.....
Inshaallah (God Willing) Graduation....

Thank God every morning when you get up, that you have something to do that day which must be done, whether you like it or not. Being forced to work and forced to do your best will breed in you temperance and self-control, diligence and strength of will, cheerfulness and content, and a hundred virtues which the idle never know. ~Charles Kingsley

(Sir Meoh, give us this Month of march....
then we will have our sights focused on eMentor....)

Busy like bees...........

Seems everyone is very busy these days.........of all days in the school year, this is one of those periods where we mentors are so much busy......giving final exams, computing for final grades, completing lesson plans, making promotional reports(phew), completing form 137/cards......i could go on and on.........

It shows coz we can't blog as much as we used to..........

But, alas!........Summer is fast approaching........Just the word summer makes us think of days of sheer pleasure of idleness.....of days of no work......of days of being with our family 24/7.......just thinking of that makes me wanna pull the days faster........
But before we can have summer, we have to endure first this month called March...... and hmmm.........we all know what this month means......phewwww.....

To Sir Garsh......we hope this new life of yours will give you the break you deserve.......and may the desert give you a breathe of fresh air and a new lease in life.......keep us posted sir.......
I have thought of not saying...but i can't resist........ Ementor will not be the same without you.....And it will be very selfish for us to let you know that we feel bad that you have to leave us halfway(hehehehe)......Sir, kidding aside, you really deserve this break......And we're very happy for you...............

To Sir Meoh......we know you can handle Ementor with both of your hands tied(LOL)........and we will be anticipating your 'okrayan blues' when you get in our schools.......just let us know in advance so we can prepare a banquet(LOL) for you......

To my External Studies mates..........Maam Marie, Maam Sal, Sir Arnold..........i really do miss you guys......inshallah when we're no longer that busy, we shall go and conquer External Studies..........

And to the Ementors......anticipating the day we will all meet again......salaam....
