September and October Experiences...
For almost a month I have been out of school due to some unavoidable circumstances. Life in this world is full of surprises. We experience ups and downs. But then, if we just hold on, all these trials in our life is a matter of saying "damn with problems...let the problem problems itself.
As for me, trials is not new to me because I live as I believed. If there's a trial there's something new and good things that comes in my way. And that's what happened to me in just a matter of twenty days of out of school.
Finally, my co-teacher, Prof. Anabelie V. Valdez, Physics and Chemistry teacher, had just presented her first PowerPoint Presentation on "Stoichiometry 1 & 2" for her third year classes. She had designed her own PowerPoint as she promised me to make it as soon as our MSU-SASE Booster review is finished. Voila!!! Even my absence in school, she had presented her work with all her documentations because I have told her that I needed very much a documentation for her presentation. Thanks for our students who have their own Nokia cell cameras, most especially to Ms. Morzida Azis, we always use her cell phone for our documentations.
One more thing, when I reported back in school, I lectured again using PowerPoint and the materials given to us during our training in Davao City about Areas of Quadrilaterals. And during my discussion, accidentally our Assistant Principal, Prof. Lawan M. Lawi, visited our Computer Laboratory room and saw me discussing again using PowerPoint. She asked me if she can also use PowerPoint in her class discussion. So, I said, "Of course yes!" But then she wandered how can that be she knows nothing about computers. I just ask what's her topic so that I can personally assist her. When she said it's all about "Idioms", I showed her the PowerPoint Presentation that Sir Meoh has sent us. So, after my class, she delivered her lesson using that material with my assistance.
I hope and wish that all my co-teachers will use and learn how to use technology in their classroom discussion.
Good Luck to all and regards.
Ms. Marie
