An Opportunity to Network with Other Teachers

Dear eMentors,

I had the chance to see Mr. Arnold Asotigue when I dropped by Iligan City for a night (I was in town for another training activity). I requested Sir Arnold to meet me in Iligan Computer Institute since I was meeting Mr. Zosimo Gomez, a Cisco Local Academy instructor (also trained under the GEM-CLIC Program) there anyway. I saw it as a good opportunity to introduce Sir Arnold to the other teachers adept to ICT integration and learned that it was a good move since it fostered an "instant camaraderie" among the teachers. Since Iligan City has created their own core teacher trainers, it would be great to have these group "brush elbows" with the IBM eMentors for exposure. I realized that learning can take place in a simple conversation.
We went to MSU-IIT as well and learned that there are teachers (from there), too,who were able to accomplish their "portfolios". Would love to share the names and contact info of teachers from Iligan to you all, eMentors, so you can establish a very good network of peers who are also in the same line that you are in.

Til then, I'm still reviewing all the articles forwarded to me by Sir Meoh. Please keep on writing articles even if there's no deadline yet ;-) (you'll never know when you'll need it!)

Ciao!
Maej
